Description: I consider my self to be strong, versatile performer with experience in a variety of performance skills. Predominantly I am a vocalist with a range from Alto to Top Soprano and the ability to adapt to a wide selection of vocal styles. I have studied many aspects of dance including; tap, street jazz, ballet and flamenco. I have always had a passion for acting and have experience in many different areas of acting including period and melodrama, character roles as well as "straight" roles. I am a strong team player, with the determination and perfectionism to constantly strive for a better performance.

The Mushrooms
I am the female lead vocalist, in a successful 6 piece corperate/functions band.
In this time I have grown more self confident as I have honed my ability to improvise and think on my feet - a necessity in a live band. I also find I have gained a lot more vocal stamina and agility through our performances as I am required to sing in many vocal styles for long periods of time.

Yates Karaoke Competition Wannabe 2005
I competed in a series of heats before achieving second place in the semi final.
This helped me to perform under pressure. I also gained experience at giving the best possible impression of myself in a short space of time, which is so vital in auditions.

February 6 - April 3 2005
Star EFX - Sunday Night Live at Her Majestys
I got the chance to fulfil my dream of performing on a West End stage in this production. It was a variety performance with a cast of thirty young performers from around the country, involving group numbers and solo performances. I was lucky enough to be selected for a solo number, it was an amazing experience and hopefully a taste of what's to come. I learned a lot from this experience and was able to perform in many different genres of musical theatre ranging from Cats to West side story.



November 2003
Graham and Friends Cabaret Evening
In this production I was able to perform in more of a supporting role, there were a lot of dance and harmony vocals involved in this show, and a lot of quick changes. I took on a leadership role within the team for this show, choreographing routines and working on vocal lines. It was also and opportunity to sing and dance at the same time, which is and important skill in musical theatre.

May 2003
Camus productions - Cabaret
I was chosen to be one of the Kit Kat girls in this show. It was a Fantastic experience as the dances are quite risque(I was also one of the "Two Ladys")
And full out so there is no time for inhibitions. I really enjoyed being a part of this production as I got the chance to use my tap dancing skills.


Qualifications and Educational details
Education
I have trained at Italia Conti, Stagecoach, The Biz Theatre School and Stages School for the Performing Arts. I have received awards for Dedication, stage presence and determination during my studies.
I studied for a while at Farnborough technology college for a B-Tech diploma in performing arts, however I found the course was not going in the direction that I wish to pursue, the modules that I did complete I passed with distinction.
