James Davis has been a successful musician before and after graduating from Belmont University's School of Music in 1990. He worked for King's Island performing as a guitarist in 1988. Since graduating college, he has emersed himself in many different musical cultures and has become very diverse in his guitar styles. He has worked with showbands aboard Royal Carribean cruise lines playing anything from jazz to calypso and top 40.
In 1995, James esablished himself in the music industry going on tour with CeCe Winans on her debut solo album "Alone In His Presence". CeCe was featured with Whitney Houston that same year on a sound track for the movie "Waiting To Exhale". This promoted James with endorsements from both Gibson guitars and Peavey. James has since established himself with a state-of-the-art home recording studio and produced several recordings. He is well aligned with other professionals in the Nashville industry that know and respect his work.
