Description: A J Lewis graduated from The London Studio Centre. His training commenced at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Whilst at college, AJ played various roles including Tyrone in FAME, Genie in ALADDIN and Don in BABES IN ARMS, also appeared in the kids TV series WILDHOUSE together with an appearance for the BBC in WATCHDOG. He has also sung live on the Jerry Kelly Show for UTV, Ireland. He regularly guests with various bands and has worked as a session singer for various producers. He played JJ in the original cast of THE REAL MONTY COMES AGAIN, during its run in the UK and in addition was assistant choreographer. He played the slave of the lamp in ALADDIN at the Belfast Opera House with Lisa Riley for Qdos and also landed a lead role in the highly successful show SOUL TRAIN with Sheila Ferguson. In 2002 he was the lead singer on the biggest cruise ship in the world for Royal Caribbean. In 2004 he played Judah in UK tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. In 2005 he wrote and performed a one man show celebrating the life and music of Stevie Wonder called Stevie Wonderful. He has recently released a dance track as a singer /songwriter for Susu Records featured on the Club Susu - Get Lifted album.
In 2006 AJ starred in the European tour of ‘THE OFFICIAL TRIBUTE TO THE BLUES BROTHERS’, performed at the Royal Albert Hall in ‘SHOW BOAT’ and has just finished an African Opera called 'MASS CARIB' in Trafalgar Square festival.
